Sometimes I think I can't take the straight path to anything. I have to take all the side streets and dead-ends before I'm comfortable with my destination. Sometimes I go the complete opposite direction, taking the road that slowly, but surely, curves back around. And though it make take me longer to get there, I feel more confident when I finally do. I know the other options, I know what lies in the other direction.
So here's to doing the wrong thing, just to make sure it really is the wrong thing. And for the lessons learned along the way.
